Rav Dr. Izhak Dayan is the Chief Rabbi of Geneva, Switzerland, serving the Communauté Israélite de Genève (CIG). A prominent international figure in interreligious dialogue, he holds key roles within the main European Jewish institutions: he represents the Conference of European Rabbis (CER) at the United Nations in Geneva and serves as Vice-President of the CER Standing Committee.
Born in Morocco, he often draws on his origins to bear witness to the long history of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect between the Jewish community and the Islamic world.
